How to Play
Craps is played with two dice. The game starts with a “come-out roll.” If the shooter (the person rolling the dice) rolls a 7 or 11, it’s an automatic win. If they roll a 2, 3, or 12, it’s called “craps,” and they lose. Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) becomes the “point.”
Best Bets for Beginners
Pass Line Bet: This is the most popular and easiest bet. You win if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the first roll. You lose if they roll 2, 3, or 12. If a point is set, you win if it’s rolled again before a 7.
Don’t Pass Line Bet: This is the opposite of the Pass Line. You win if the shooter rolls a 2 or 3, and lose on 7 or 11.
Come Bet: Similar to the Pass Line, but placed after the point is set.
Odds Bet: This is an extra bet you can place behind your Pass or Come bet. It has no house edge, so it’s a smart choice.
